WESTHAMPTON RESIDENCEThe aim of the residential design architectural services for the addition to and renovation of this existing residence was to increase the space and function as well as improve the design. This included a new master bedroom with a fireplace, master-bath with sauna and private deck view of the water, new kitchen, living room with a fireplace, and upgrades for winter use. Achieving this was made much more difficult due to the site constraints and the nature of the existing building. Replacing it with a new construction would have required moving 100 feet further from the water, losing its unique view. Upward expansion was the only possibility yet at the same time extremely impractical since the house was not strong enough to support a second floor and the entire structure was on piles. In addition the general contractor disappeared halfway into the construction. CONCEPTS-ENTERPRISE took over to manage the construction, solve the problems and produce a unique home.

HALF MOON LANE RESIDENCEOur residential architectural services with Construction Management transformed this house a sows ear to a silk purse. Although located on a waterview site in a top real estate market in the North East portion of Long Island, NY this house was so eccentric and poorly designed it was barely functional. We transformed the architecture and vastly expanded the space and function of the house to match it’s location and serve the new owners and their large family.

GANTLY RESIDENCEOur residential building design services for the addition to and renovation of this existing residence in Sands Point, NY. We increased the space, almost doubling the size, and function, while maintaining the existing classic architectural design of the original home. This included a new second floor bedroom, expanded living room, and renovated kitchen, center hall and guest bathroom. The challenges included the very symmetrical design prior to the addition and the worn painted brick exterior finish which had to be replicated on the new construction.
